|Recommended: YesComfortable, Welcoming And Suited To My Needs — Living here has been a great experience, I haven't experienced any issues with my appliances or fixtures, and my neighbors are all respectful and friendly. The staff are my favorite from any apartment complex I've lived in they are friendly, welcoming and willing to solve any problems I may have. I opted for street parking rather than garage parking and I haven't had any issues. Most of the time I am able to find a space right outside the building, if not across St. Paul street into the neighborhood. The location is fantastic with tons of options for food and drink, coffee, quick necessities and social hangout spots.

|Recommended: YesJefferson House Is A Great Place To Live — The staff is fantastic. They are always friendly and available for questions or comments, or just to chat. The service for work in the apartment is the biggest draw for Jefferson House. Jerry is so quick to respond to anything you need from him. The apartment is old, but this is not a drawback. In fact, it gives the building its charm. The rooms are clean, and well maintained. The room has so much natural light that I rarely need to turn on the lights during the day

|Recommended: YesGreat Price And Location For Engineering Students — This is a great place for you if you spend most of your day on campus. It provides the most convenient location at a decent price. You are 5 mins away to any engineering building, and right next to CVS, Eddie's Market and most restaurants on St Paul street. The building itself is old the room is kinda small the gym is really small it can get a bit noisy if you live on the lower floors like me some things may break from time to time. However, the staff and maintenance are very responsive. In conclusion, I would recommend this to anyone who is looking for an affordable, private and convenient place to stay for their study at Hopkins.

|Recommended: YesGood — Good overall. Friendly staff and nice interior. Good maintenance crew. Noise level still a bit high especially coming from floors above, as well as the elevator . Parking space could be very limited within 1 block.

|Recommended: YesVery Nice And Convenient Place Close To Homewood Campus — Stayed for a year and really enjoyed the stay at the quiet and comfortable studio in the neatly maintained apartment building. Very friendly and helpful staff at the leasing office and the maintenance services group.
Conveniently located for someone studying at Johns Hopkins university, just 2 minutes away from the Homewood campus, grocery, restaurants and bus shuttle.

|Recommended: YesGreat Place To Live — Management and the building itself is stellar. It is an older building so that comes with things that are hard to work around. You can smell neighbors apartments especially smokers.

|Recommended: YesJefferson House Is Awesome — I have lived happily at Jefferson House for a year and have just signed a second lease on a newly renovated executive studio apartment
I am ecstatic with the renovated kitchen It boasts a stainless steel range, refrigerator, and dishwasher with chic dark stained cabinets and silver hardware. It is the perfect amount of space for me to cook and store everything I need
In addition to the renovated kitchen, the hardwood floors in the apartment have been repaired and refinished as well
The bathroom also has a new sink, vanity, mirror, and shower curtain rod. I love the new silver light fixtures throughout the apartment and everything has been freshly painted
This apartment is an ABSOLUTE STEAL for the price, as heat and water are included, and my gas and electric is only 60 per month There is always JHU security around and ample street parking for visitors and residents. I also have a great view of the city, as I am on the front of the building.

|Recommended: YesWould Recommend In A Heartbeat — Jefferson House Apts is a great community to be a part of. Staff and maintenance are all so friendly and super helpful. They know you by name and warmly greet you even if you bump into them on the streets Really going to miss them They look after you and do their best to make sure that your living experience is the most enjoyable it can be. Whenever I put in requests for maintenance repairs, it was always completed in a timely fashion within the same day. Location is super safe and convenient because it's right across from all the eateries on St. Paul street. Apartment is well-maintained and clean.

|Recommended: YesThe Building Is Older But The Staff Is Kind And Extremely Helpful — I enjoy living in Jefferson House Apartments. The location is prime and the staff is timely in dealing with any concerns. Both Danielle and Scott are personable and will say hello by name when they see you. My particular apartment has not been renovated and I feel the price I am paying for the quality of the apartment is a tad high but again, the location is awesome so I deal. Some of the new renovated studios are beautiful and I would definitely recommend choosing those if you are able to financially. Overall, great place to live.

|Recommended: YesVery Comfy Apartment With A Friendly Staff To Match — The Jefferson has a distinct charm to it due to its antique foundation and steady developments throughout the years. My apartment was given to me in great condition and anytime there has been a concern the maintenance has responded very quickly. The staff also takes many initiatives to ensure that tenants feel welcome and appreciate. I would definitely recommend it.
|Recommended: YesGood Property Management, Quaint — Generally, its good. Cost of living is fairly decent. The appliances tend to be on the older side, even for the newer apartments. My studio is lacking counter space and the heater makes a lot of noise really old heating system .
Maintenance is good and quick at checking fixing problems, but many non-dangerous problems go unfixed broken insulation around a pipe in my closet, non-leaking crack in the bathroom sink, loud and obnoxious heater, unsecured cover for the shower faucet .
